An (Un)Disreputable Awarding

The National Book Award finalists have been announced, and I am now reading The Disreputable History of Frankie-Landau Banks by E. Lockhart, which has made the list. The book has been in my hands for quite some time, most likely since it was first released, but until now it’s been in my “to-read” pile (that currently stands at approx. 2 feet high). After hearing the news of the nominees, I knew the book must be good, and I better darn well start reading it. I’m a big fan of E. Lockhart’s novels, especially the Ruby Oliver books and Dramarama.

I will be sure to post here when finished, sharing my thoughts on the book! I’m also looking forward to getting my hands on Chains by Laurie Halse Anderson, who is a goddess amongst authors!
