She Loves Books!

Hello world! Welcome to bibliochic.com, my awesome place on the web to share my love of books! Maybe you’re here because you are a friend of mine. Maybe you are here because you love books. Maybe you’re like how the FREAK did I get here? Well, the reason doesn’t matter. Just enjoy. And comment. AND RSS ME! Seriously. If you don’t know what RSS is and if you’re not subscribing to blogs around the world, you are so not with it. If you don’t know what the RSS button to the side is, PLEASE COMMENT AND I WILL TRY TO HELP YOUR POOR SOUL.

Thanks much–look for my first bookishly awesome entry in about 15 minutes! Ciao my peeps!

Yeah I thought I was ‘with it’ computer-wise.. until I read this.

    What’s RSS, precious?

  • Melissa:

OK dear, I actually have no clue what RSS stands for, but it is this. You subscribe to my RSS through a thing, such as Google Reader, and what it can do is, take the text of my posts, and put it on a handy dandy website for you (aka http://www.google.com/reader). The main point of this is, that, you can subscribe to MANY blogs, and read them all through the gloriousness of Google Reader, and not have to wonder when they update, because BAM, you will see it on there.

Or not. Or you can view my website in all its purpleness, whenever you want. I like RSS because I read MANY MANY author blogs, and it helps, because then I don’t have to visit each site individually to check for updates.

Here is a very simple website that may explain it better than I!
